President's Message The UJSSA Board has met at Louisville and via conference phone call. The National Junior Suffolk Show is the only event of the UJSSA. Our total attention is focused on producing the very best show possible. We try to have something for everyone. Activities to even get the parents involved! For the first time, there will be advertising space available on the brochures that are mailed out to all Junior members and anyone else who requests one. We are also planning ahead to 2010. The UJSSA Board selected Wisconsin to host the 2010 Show. The exact location hasn't been determined. We are still examining facilities. We continue to work with the great folks at the University of Wyoming. They are providing the arena and are assisting in setting up pens for the 2009 show. For those who weren't at the 2004 show in Laramie, this is a wonderful facility. The Board has added four classes to the already impressive lineup. There will be lamb and yearling production classes for rams and ewes. There will be more information on these classes at a later date. Our man on the scene in Laramie, Tom Schambow, has contacted motels for special rates. Banquet arrangements are in the planning stages. This association exists for you. If you have concerns, suggestions or recommendations, please contact a Director. Sincerely,
